4/14/10 Update: The bears are out of torpor and lots of people seeing them. We saw a few tracks while out for the youth turkey season.
I was at a bear meeting a month ago, and the DNRs Linda Olver figures it will take zone A, 7 pts; zone B, 9 pts; zone C, 4 points; and zone D, 8 points for a tag. That's quite a turnaround from the days when zone D (A1) was the shortest because it was an intensive harvest zone. Other interesting facts...<3% of licenses go to out of staters. About 75% of mortality comes from hunting...there are about 200 car kills annually. Personally, I don't think they take into account depredation from wolves nearly enough. When a pack of wolves gets into a den and the sows heartbeat is at 4 per minute, they are completely vulnerable. I think predation of cubs by boars is considerably higher, also.

We have references available. The only thing I can guarantee is that we will work hard to help you get your bear. All our baits are clean and we follow all DNR regulations. I don't like using an ATV for hunting, but some of the best stories and greatest appreciation for your trophy come from pulling them out the old fashioned way...
All profit from baiting goes towards the kids college funds. Hopefully, they'll look back fondly at all the years of un-wrapping bait.
